I am still ill and I don't have no new photos to show so I thought of these few from summer time when Iva visited me in my studio (more posts: here and here) and we were creating side by side. You can see some of my ghost/creatures which I made from clay... ah this seems so long ago.

I am spending my week in bed because of a bad cold and it doesn't seem that it will go away so soon. I try to rest as much as possible and try to kill time with movies, books, cups of hot tea and so on... right now I am admiring Claire Loder's wonderful book which arrived today. I admire her work so much, she is an amazing artist and I hope I will be able to afford one of her sculptures someday. :)

Ps: Daffodils bloomed from previous post... they are not my favorite flowers at all but they make a nice contrast with outside snowy weather.

Spring in a pot and lovely surprises from friends. Things that help me find beauty during these stressful and busy days.
Thank you Erika for the lovely handmade "tiny carpet" and Irena for sending me a dose of your wonderful handwriting. The text I once asked her to write down for me is something I saw framed  in our friend's family kitchen  (I think I saw it here for the first time though) and it goes like this: "In this house: we are real, we make mistakes, we say I'm sorry, we give second chances, we have fun, we give hugs, we forgive, we do really loud, we are family, we love.". Definitely a home which we are trying to create.

Slowly, slowly we are getting there...
(It's nice to see that there is a big progress since last January!:))

HAPPY NEW YEAR!***
I'm gonna start it by reading a new book; Nigel Slater's Kitchen diaries which was on my wish list for years. "I have always loved the first day of the year. A day ringing with promise" the author says and I am already hooked by this book. :)

In the beginning of December I won on Paula's lovely giveaway and received her pretty ornaments yesterday (thank you!). They are all as delicate, beautiful, unique and special as this little white dove. May your 2013 be just such, full of hope and everything good.***
See you next year! :)

After week of joyous visits, gatherings and feasts cold reminded me to take some time just for myself so I spent most of my day at home in my pajamas watching Mad man, reading books, drinking tea and resting. It would be nicer to do all that without the cold though... :)
photos: our Christmas tree, gnomes I made out of clay, Stella's ceramic candle holder, Božična knjiga - gift from our friends and evidence that it's high time to wash our windows. :)

The loveliest Christmas ornament I saw this year (so far) is this drawing on paper made by my talented friend.
More Christmas photos coming soon...
Oh and I almost forgot; you can win set of my magnets with other amazing goodies on La casita giveaway! Good luck*

Christmas has always been a family holiday for me and this year it's even more special since Ram and I  are expecting our first baby in the beginning of May!!! I can't even put all emotions in words so I won't even try...  let's just say we are all happy to the roof and that I am grateful, curious, excited and... :)
I wish you all peaceful, jolly and magical Christmas and thank you for all the support and beautiful comments throughout the whole year!*

ps: Our friend Lea draw me this wonderful drawing years ago as a gift.
