If you would ask my nephew Edi he would probably say that blowing bubbles for the first time can be a bit scary at first but once you learn how to do it it's simply fantastic. I really enjoyed this moments with him today...

Some photos from yesterday's (nice but so hot) opening of our mini sale exhibition in Olivija. Among many beautiful things made by Slovenian creators and designers you can from now on also see (and buy) Anja's wonderful brooches and carrying cases for glasses, my silkscreen prints and tote bags, original illustrations, mini statuettes and magnets. For those of you who can't visit I announce that I am planing to open a small webshop soon. :)

Who is still sleeping in our bed at this late hour? It's Sivka or Lady Lavender who knows how to ignore continuous heat. The name for this super cute wonderful handmade kitten popped up as soon as I opened a big package from Valentina's Studio13. Thank you so much for the gift!*

It's too hot to do anything these days so staying at home in the afternoon is the best way to beat the heat. How are you handling it? :)

My sister-in-law kindly sewed a linen cushion cover for me which I screen printed later with my own flower design. I knew it would be better to screen print on fabric first and than to sew it together but anyway... here it is... my very first bigger screen-printed piece of fabric. It's far from perfect (I still need tons of practice) but I like the final result with all imperfections which gives the pillow a certain character. Can't wait to do more... :)

ps: My pillow is in good company of Cocon's little jade plant, Kavka's Edek and Ikea's Jorun cushion.

Who thought that cherry picking would be such a lovely and relaxing thing to do. It was the perfect little event to end this friday and to start a really nice weekend. I hope you had fun too and I wish you all a great new week!

Well to be honest I have never ever eaten avocado yet but when I saw how you can grow your own avocado tree from seed in many blogs lately I've decided to give it a try. Primarly not to eat it but because I believe it will be fascinating to observe the growth... if something will actually happen. And the seed is so beautiful isn't it? 

Do you like avocado and how do you like to prepare it? (I am asking because there is seedless avocado waiting for me in the fridge.) :)

Things are moving forward with our house renovation... currently the focus is on water and central  heating installations.  Every change I see in the house, every process makes me happy although I can't help myself not to dream about skipping all of them and move in already. :) I know I am impatient but I am trying really hard not to be...
