My dearest friend Tina surprised me with this adorable book about little Marta and her heart. It's written by Patricija Peršolja and illustrated by one of my favorite Slovenian illustrators Silvan Omerzu. Such joy!

Some shots from today's art Extempore in summery Piran which I attended as a mentor for three of my students. In addition to many great children's work of art I also saw two exhibitions; Golden drum (18th international advertising festival) and Splendid Pop.

Photos from today's children art workshop on the topic of the "bonton/etiquette in the theater" as part of a traditional local festival Štrudlfest. We talked about appropriate behavior in the theater and then they illustrated the rules in small booklets which we created together. Very fun and very sweet. :)

I've been searching for this wonderful book quite awhile and was then infinitely happy when I found it on Bolha for only 3 euros. I've loved Jiří Šalamoun illustrations since I was a kid and was always happy when I saw his cartoons Maksi pes Fik on TV.

Some shots from yesterday's visit of group exhibition opening called "Kiparstvo danes - kipi, figure in telesa (Sculpture today - statues, figures and bodies)" at Zavod Celeia Celje. Some yesterday's photos from my "granny-in-law's" (I know that's not the right term but I prefer to say it like that) garden just around the corner of our future house. We'll also be allowed to use  it but I guess we have to learn how to first. :)

I'm in anticipation of autumn... Too bad the chestnut tree in front of our future house is wild otherwise we would bake chestnuts this evening. :)

I had some troubles with my blog (I couldn't enter into my dashboard) and now it's already September! This day is a bit special since it's my nephew's first birthday and I started my one year internship as professor of fine art. This means back to high school for me... but from another perspective. :)

I wish you a wonderful September and by that I mean a wonderful autumn and "bouquet of newly-sharped pencils". :)
