I had some troubles with my blog (I couldn't enter into my dashboard) and now it's already September! This day is a bit special since it's my nephew's first birthday and I started my one year internship as professor of fine art. This means back to high school for me... but from another perspective. :)

I wish you a wonderful September and by that I mean a wonderful autumn and "bouquet of newly-sharped pencils". :)

In Slovenia we have the heat wave with temperatures up to seven degrees higher than normal during this period. My friends and I tried to escape the heat by travelling up north and higher to the mountains yesterday but we didn't quite succed (well only a little bit). We had a wonderful day nonetheless. :)

I was so happy to see a new Paumes book - Finland Apartments in my mailbox today and what was even greater was to see one of my favorite illustrators - Hanna Konola featured in this book as well. I really love Paumes books and I think Edi likes them as well. :)

I fell in love with this rainbow maker since I saw it over Mieke Willems's blog. Too bad the shipping is so expensive. For now I only have this plastic "diamond" drop to comfort me, but I'll keep my eyes wide open to find rainbow maker somewhere nearer. :)

Some Instagram photos from today's short walk with friends. I was without

camera so I could use friend's Iphone again. The photos aren't really sharp

but I don't mind... :)

Some photos from the Venice Biennale actually quite randomly picked.

Venice all day yesterday. My friends and I went to see the 54th International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale which left us quite cold even though the weather was hot as hell. We haven't however saw everything because we ran out of time and the A+A gallery where my former sculpture professor Mirko Bratuša represents our country was unfortunately already closed by the time we found it. Nevertheless we had a wonderful time but today all I can do is  rest (we were on our feet most of the day). Art is hard (.!?) :)
