A quick hello from my studio where I'm playing a bit and making big sketches just like that for fun...

I finally finished the children's picture book and I feel quite tired but it's nice to see the result after many months of work. I will tell you more about the project soon but now I'll try to end this first summer day with much needed rest. I hope you're having a nice summery day.

I spent my Saturday in Ljubljana mostly walking around the city seeing exhibitions (also an opening exhibition of my friends in which Ram participated with sound installation), bookstores (bought none but put more of them on my wishlist :)) and conversing about all sorts of things.with my friends. It was also nice to meet Saša (who just came back home from Sweden) and overwhelmed her with questions about Camilla's workshop in which she took part in. Sweet sweet day...

Lately I am busy as a bee but it feels good. I start my days very early, go for a morning walk, finishing illustrations for one children book, spend afternoons with my little nephew and then usually stay in my studio till late hours. It's a bit stresfull but also very good for me since I wasn't as disciplined like this for a long time. I've noticed years ago that I am more productive and organised if I have plenty to do. Is it the same for you?

We had lunch on our friend's beautiful terrace where I noticed small creatures in the peeled facade and drew them faces. :)

ps: I put three small dots in the title area of the post which will hopefully solve the problem about leaving comments on my blog. Now people who don't see a comment link under my post will be able to click on the "title" and comment as well. Hm, maybe this will work. Let's see. :)

Some photos from yesterday's short walk in a pre-stormy weather. Wind, fresh air, lightnings in the sky and good company... even better because it was after a very delicious lunch to which Ram and I were invited. (maybe more photos tomorrow).

May flew by so quickly this year for me... can't believe it's the first day of June today! At least I have some film photos to remember this spring... here is the first batch of them (from the Zoo visit in Italy).
