I've been to Bologna po Bologni exhibition with friends the other day. There were so many lovely picture books that we couldn't stop doing "waaw" and "ooh". :)

Breakfast in bed (forest fruits and banana homemade smoothie made by Iva). Yum... It was beautiful to wake up after such a magical concert of Florence + the Machine. I was without camera  but you can see some photos here.

After a long time I met Tadeja (my dear friend who now lives in Finland) and her boyfriend Ville again. Every time Tadeja and I meet we laugh a lot and among other things talk about design in Finland which we both like. Today I admired her Marimekko purse with fabric designed by Sanna Annukka. So gorgeous! I wish they'd sell things like that here!

We found this school textbook from 1963 some months ago when we cleaned the attic of our future house. When my mum heard about it she was thrilled since she learned from one like that when she was a kid. I'll surprise her with it today.
I vividly remember my first textbook too, do you?

Some photos from yesterday's evening walk by the coast when the sky cleared out after  raining the whole day. Even though weather conditions changed our original plans Ram and I had a wonderful day.
So funny that I'm 25 from now on. Well at least for a year. :)

I'm 25 today.

I received beautiful postcard from Reka few weeks ago. I met her once in Helsinki via common friends, fell in love with her amazing work and years later discovered her wonderful blog. I am really happy she sent me this Moikard which is part of a large illustration that has been cut to pieces and been sent to various cities around the world. Thank you again!

I'm back! I've spend couple of days in Ljubljana hanging with my friends especially with Iva. We took many photos but almost none with my camera and because of some technical difficulties I have only few of them at the moment. Here are some from our yesterday's walk in the old part of the city center.

My friend David illustrated the book of fables called Devetnajst which means Nineteen. The fables written by Oton Marc are really funny so are the colorful illustrations originally made in etching/aquatint technique. You can see more of his work here and here.

Ram and wolf surely liked the book since they giggled all the time while reading it the other day.
