Waw, the last day of 2009 came so fast but I am looking forward of 2010. Something tells me that this will be a great year! I wanna wish you all the best and also I would like to thank you for your kind words, encouragements, emails and surprises. You made my 2009 sweeter!*

Food in my mailbox! Can you imagine? Sweet Alessandra sent me this delicious Stollen all the way from England. Yummy :).

This year I also illustrated envelopes of the holidays cards I've sent. This Santa was on one of them. I wrote the address into his "t-shirt" and I hope it made the recipient happy. :)

I received these beautiful dancing Swedish dwarfs from Saša. So funny that I sent her a Christmas card with a similar ones.

I am in love with Soul Bird by Sanna Annuka. The legend behind it really inspired me so I'll try to make one myself since I don't have enough money to buy one these days. I really love the idea of having a bird which would protect my soul while dreaming. :)

I woke up into winter fairytale this morning, so I took a walk and enjoyed the quietness of the snow. The cars were driving very slowly and people I've met were wearing big smiles on their faces. Hurray for snow!

Are you ready for Christmas? I am happy to say that I am! I am writing Christmas cards today and listening to Christmas songs... haha! :) I am thrilled that I somehow feel this excitement again since some of the last years things were moving so fast, that I really didn't feel the magic until it was all gone. Do you know what I mean?

The illustration of Dedek Mraz (Father Frost) is from one of my picture-books from my childhood. I think the time is perfect to share it with you.

I felt "like Santa" while wrapping Christmas gifts for my family and friends yesterday. I used Sandra's beautiful stamp for decorating one special package. I like how it turned out and I'm looking forward of putting it under the Christmas tree with all the other presents.

I hope you had a wonderful day today. I spent it in a circle of girl-friends, eating cheesecake with blueberries , celebrating Jane Austen's birthday with lots of giggling and squealing while watching Pride and prejudice. He,he very girly just like we like it (sometimes)! :)
