We found this school textbook from 1963 some months ago when we cleaned the attic of our future house. When my mum heard about it she was thrilled since she learned from one like that when she was a kid. I'll surprise her with it today.
I vividly remember my first textbook too, do you?
No I don't, maybe because my teacher was scary!
OdgovoriIzbrišithis book looks great! what a lucky finding :)))
What a beautiful blog you have! and a beautiful book. I have trouble remembering what I did yesterday let alone my first textbook. Great memory if you remember that.

OdgovoriIzbrišiOh I love it! Just gorgeous :) In Australia our first books were called "Dick and Dora" (removed from schools once dick became a naughty word! ;) So funny. Thanks for sharing this lovely book. Kx
OdgovoriIzbrišiGosh, what a great textbook. Mine looked nothing as creative and artistic as that one. I learned to read from See Jane Run. I remember the exact moment reading clicked for me. On the couch next to my Dad reading See Jane Run.
OdgovoriIzbrišiI went to a French school so I remember my first 'reader' was Luc et Martine- a whole series-
